Easy Gems is a set of collectathon-inspired gem blueprints perfect for any platformer or collectathon game. Incredibly simple to set up, from the time you purchase, you can be working on your game within five minutes.

 

The Easy Gems pack includes both gems and dispensers (blueprint components that drop gems – these can be added to any actor, whether they’re destructible items like crates or enemy characters), as well as a simple and robust save and load system. By default, saving and loading is enabled (but can be disabled if you so choose), allowing the gem counter to be saved and preventing gems from being collected more than once. Any gems that have already been collected simply won’t spawn, and will be skipped over by dispensers.

 

In addition to the core blueprints, this pack also includes various high quality sounds, models, and textures, as well as other utility blueprints. On top of that, a small function library and macro library are both included to speed up the development workflow and increase the ease of use.

 

The pack is incredibly simple to use and very easy to configure – every setting can be configured with the press of a button, both globally and per-instance.

Important/Additional Notes: Make sure Apex Destruction is enabled and you have created a Gem collision channel (default response set to Block) when migrating to your own project!
