Note:
To update Reactive Curtains, please follow these steps:
Reactive Curtains is a collection of 20 curtains that react realistically to the wind (using Unreal’s Wind Directional Source). There are 4 curtain types: classic, hole, ring and straps. Each type comes in 5 variations that differ in the number and size of folds in the material.
The curtains are suitable for many environments ranging from rooms in a home, offices, libraries, castles and more.
The package is extremely customizable, so you can create the perfect look for your level. The included rails are modular and the curtains can be resized to fit any window. The materials are also created with easy customization in mind.
Cloth physics is handled by Unreal’s own clothing physics engine. The curtains don’t react or collide with items in the environment, but the effect is simulated by use of cloth paint weights. Collision variants can be created to suit your level’s needs (as pictured above).
The package includes a manual that describes, in detail, how to set up and customize the look, size and collisions of the curtains to suit your projects.
