Description
New
NOTE for version 1.2: If you are an old version user you may experience crash when opening a level containing SplineArrayTool v1.1 or v1.0; this is because a bug in UE4.25 prevents actors from getting per-instance allocations. It’s not possible for me to fix this. A bug report has been filed to Epic. Meanwhile, there’s no workaround, you have to refrain from update if you have an existing scene with the older version of Spline Array Tool.
Spline Array Tool is a handy editor tool for procedural generation of arrays along a parameterized (NURBS) mesh. (See video)
This is similar to 3Dmax’s Array Tool’s 2D option, but more flexible.
Inside, for the ease of use, a pure blueprint approach is adopted, even though some performance is sacrificed.
