Description
Adding to screen: To add to the screen create a widget then add to the viewport (WB_Main_Menu)
Boxing set up: This has been set up as a boxing game but can easily be changed to a football game etc or whatever you can think of. Changing data table stats names will not change them in the stats overlay (character selection screen) as I manually typed them in.
Controller: There are controller animations that allow you to push your controller to a particular side. Both sides must select a fighter before advancing.
Game Instance: I have included a game instance, this is used to transfer your selected characters and game details over to load them from the main menu into your new map. You can use the one I’ve provided you just need to go to project settings and search for game instance, then replace it with my one. If you already have one you can transfer the variables from mine to yours but you will need to replace the cast nodes in the widgets.
This Product includes a Modern main menu screen with a box design with an easy panel/tile that is fully customizable (See Tutorial video for full demonstration), allowing you to swap in and out your images and easily set up transitions to your game.
We have a soundtracks screen where it gets all your songs, song covers, artists, and song name and displays them all on-screen with checkboxes for each one allowing the person playing your game to check and uncheck the songs they like and dislike. Shuffle mode which shuffles songs produces a drop-down showing the new song that’s chosen, This can be triggered by the Z key and can be accessed on any screen I’ve created.
The character selection screen is by far the best part, this screen, allows you to set your controller to a side for p1 and p2 and sets separate colors for each controller, and has a modern animation bringing the fighters forward. It also has a legend feature for legend fighters or teams (if you’re making a sports game) it will have a legend tile come down and the background change to black and white. This is set through the database along with the belts which are displayed for fighters. (Again the belts could be replaced by football cups so if a team has a cup you can set the cup to show for them in the character or team selector. This can be turned off or on by checking the box in the data table.) Also, we have a stats overlay by pressing the right stick in or using the right ctrl. It will slide in the stats with animation and allow you to see the player’s stats which make up their overall rating in the middle panel.
Everything is run off databases to make the process super simple for you all you have is to put the details etc for each player and stadium and for your music etc.
NOT SUPPORTED changing stat names in the database will not change the stat names in the status screen on the character selection widget.
The match details screen includes details on matches allowing you to set stadiums and levels of AI difficulty etc.
This also includes Royalty free music to give you a feel for the music system and royalty-free images to help with how it looks.
Controllers and keyboard, are fully supported. for players 1 and 2.
IS YOUR CONTROLLER 2 NOT WORKING: This is because you likely don’t have “skip assigning controller to player 1” ticked.
