Description
This pack is a “must have” for everyone who wants to create a high quality “next gen” space scene in Unreal Engine 5. Altogether, there are 46 planets and 18 suns, most of the materials having 8k resolution textures, very useful to create enormous environments, almost the same scale as reality, keeping high visual quality without having problems with texture stretching. Actually, the scene in the above video is so big that in order to navigate in it, You will have to set the Camera Speed at maximum (Camera speed 8 and camera speed Scalar 128) and even so, the movement is extremely slow. All the planets materials are LIT so they are sensitive to sun (directional light) position, intensity and color. All Suns materials are UNLIT.
All the celestial bodies are in fact blueprints which can be easily imported into your scene (drag and drop). All planets use intelligent materials sensitive to the light direction of the Sun and each material instance have adjustable parameters for light reflection, dark side of the planet luminosity strength and power. The suns come with intelligent materials having many adjustable parameters as well.
This pack contains various types of celestial bodies: rocky planets, gas giants with and without rings, all possible types of suns depending on their temperature: red, yellow, white, blue. The map from this video comes together with the pack as a demo level. Some textures in this pack are inspired and based on NASA elevation and imagery data.
