This is a 3d model of stars based on HIP catalog (118218 stars).
All stars are one single object containing a bunch of sprites. Special shader controls the look of the stars. It uses scientifically correct method for calculating star size on the screen relative to your position in space. You can get proper star scaling from any point in space.
If you want to see what the stars look like from earth, you should go to (0,0,0) coordinates.
Included constellations models. Each constellation has its own named model.
Constellation lines has the same thickness from any distance.
