Note: UE5 has a default Basic Foot IK System based on Control Rig & Metahuman Bone Structure included. We recommend to make use of that, if you are using UE5 or higher.
Attention: This System is based on the “old” UE Mannequin (UE5 includes new & old mannequin)
The Basic Foot IK System traces the floor below the feet of your character and positions them at their true height. The whole body morphs towards the new foot’s position and the rotation of the feet are changed according to the terrain angle.
