Introducing the Cuttlefish Camouflage Pack, equipped with an advanced procedural spline animation system that dynamically alters the cuttlefish’s camouflage as it gracefully glides over diverse surfaces!

Our system offers unparalleled customization options. Transforming the cuttlefish’s skin is as straightforward as aligning the physics materials beneath the cuttlefish with the designated variables in the cuttlefish blueprint. Beyond this fundamental setup, you have the power to:

Additionally, an Ocean environment has been included with Sand & Rock Materials, A Rock Static Mesh, Underwater PostProcess Settings, Caustic Lighting, Fog, & Depth of Field, along with a few Cuttlefish with their paths set up, demonstrating both standard and vertex-animated systems; demonstrating how to use this package.

Performance Options

Regarding performance, you’ll receive two options

1.) You can utilise a standard skeletal mesh with a swimming animation. This comes with a Physics Asset, which is great for ragdoll effects.

2.) You’ll also receive a vertex-animated mesh & Blueprint; allowing you to choose between better performance or better graphical quality and collisions. The Vertex Animated mesh is built to be compatible with the Fish School System, purchasable on the Epic Games Marketplace.

The cuttlefish meshes are made up of 3 LODS, and come with detailed Material Instances for adjusting three camouflage types to suit your environment.
