Description
This pack contains everything you need to create procedurally create, in just a few minutes, a realistic and very high quality Dunes – Oasis environment in UE5. You get even the heightmaps (15 heightmaps at 4k resolution) necessary to create realistic desert dunes landscapes. The pack also comes with a water blueprint. By changing the parameters of the water material instance, you will be able to completely change the aspect of the water (wavelength, color, different colors for shallow water or deep water etc. ).
The pack also comes with a powerful and very adjustable landscape auto-material which will help you adjust and customize to your need the final desert landscape (terrain). The landscape auto-material is created in such a way to simulate the effect of the wind blowing into sand. This effect can also be adjusted and fine tuned from the landscape auto-material. The auto-material comes with automatic grass (foliage). You will be able to adjust many parameters here such as: wind speed, wind intensity, foliage color and many other parameters
To be even more realistic, I included a very customizable and optimized Heat Haze material. You will be able to adjust the distance from which the Heat Haze effect starts, as well as its frequency and other parameters. The heat haze effect (material) in applied on a plane, in front of the player so this way, many problems which comes with a normal post process material are avoided. (for example, because of this setup, the Heat Haze effect will not be visible on the player and it will be visible only in the distance, as it is natural. More than that, You will be able to adjust at which distance it will start)
Everything in this pack is optimized for open-word projects. Almost everything is procedurally generated and it is designed for speed and performance.

Attention: This product is using World Partition to keep everything optimized. When you first open the demo map, the landscape regions will not be loaded and this is why you can not see the landscape inside the editor. In order to see the landscape, you will have to go to the World Partition Tab and select all the regions after that right click on the selection and press Load Regions from Selection. You have to do this only once per project. This is how Unreal Engine works…

Important/Additional Notes: In case you use your own character, in order to have heat haze effect and background desert sound, you will have to copy paste these 2 components from my character into yours. If your character is Third Person, you will also have to adjust a little bit the distance from the camera of the Heat Haze component
