Description

This plugin is wildly different than the one shipped with official drivers. SpaceMouse for Unreal Engine and its main author has NO affiliation with 3DConnexion and 3DConnexion was NOT involved in its development in any ways.

If you’re unsure, please try the plugin from there before buying it here. The marketplace release just gives you the convenience of installing it automatically, and by buying it you can support / appreciate my endeavours with this feature.

This plugin is Only for Unreal Engine. Other applications made in Unreal Engine (Such as Twinmotion) will not magically support this plugin without the involvement of the application’s developer. TL;DR: Twinmotion is NOT SUPPORTED and it doesn’t support other Unreal Engine plugins either!

So now those are out of the way, this is what SpaceMouse for Unreal Engine can offer:

If you own a Space Mouse device by 3DConnexion you can now effortlessly control the camera in any 3D viewport inside the Editor. 3DxWare or any drivers from 3DConnexion is NOT required to be installed, as it’s directly using their HID output (on Windows). Please see further details here

Any editor shortcut can be mapped to the buttons on your device, and some extra coming with the plugin (like speed increase / decrease)
