Description

The VehicleSim Dynamics plugin from Mechanical Simulation will allow you to run industry standard CarSim and TruckSim math models in an Unreal environment. Please note that this plugin does not function without a separately purchased, licensed copy of CarSim or TruckSim, which are expensive, professional engineering tools.

Technical Details

The plugin will feed terrain data, including surface friction, from Unreal into the VehicleSim math model. It will also provide the math model data to the simulation using code or blueprints. You can modify your vehicle in CarSim or TruckSim and hot reload the results in your environment. Standard output files are generated, so you can view all of the selected variable outputs in the CarSim or TruckSim plotter after a run.

The VehicleSim Dynamics plugin requires a running copy of CarSim or TruckSim. To download visit carsim.com.
