This fully functional Paper2D template project is perfect for anyone looking to save a lot of time making that retro-style 2.5D project! This template is perfect for most games, however as with existing Unreal templates, will require some changing to make work for your specific game. Designed and commented to make personalizing and cultivating it into your perfect game easy. Either as a quick way to prototype ideas, or as the basis for a full game this project will more than get you going in the right direction. Important/Additional Notes: NOTE: Make sure in Editor Preferences to set “USE LESS CPU WHEN IN BACKGROUND” to False. IF YOU ARE NEW TO UNREAL, PLEASE ALLOW THE EDITOR A HEALTHY AMOUNT OF TIME TO COMPILE SHADERS WHEN STARTING UP THE PROJECT THE FIRST TIME. IT IS NOT BROKEN, AND STICKING AT 40 OR SO PERCENT IS COMPLETELY NORMAL THE FIRST TIME YOU OPEN A NEW PROJECT. 😉
