Description

Introducing the HVAC Construction Kit. This package includes everything you need to add realistic HVAC elements to your buildings. This package includes 3 styles of duct work (Round, Square, and Rectangular), plus a variety of junctions, vents, and hangers for building a convincing HVAC layout in your scene. Also included are a variety of ground and rooftop AC compressors to bring additional detail to outdoor scenes.

The duct work is Blueprinted to allow random lengths of ducting to be quickly placed. Simply position the endpoints and the Blueprints take care of the rest. Also included are a variety of junctions including 90 and 45 degree elbows, Tees, 4-ways, and adapters for joining round to square to rectangular ducting. Hangers and support stands are also provided.

A number of roof vents are included, which are also Blueprinted to allow them to be placed on sloping roofs. The base can be tilted to a desired angle while keeping the vent pipe vertical. The wind turbine vent is animated. This kit also includes a variety of interior vents and grills for placement directly on duct work, ceilings, or walls.

Also included is a set of animated exhaust fans, which feature movable shutters on the exterior side. The shutters move in response to the adjustable fan speed. These exhaust fans are also adjustable to accommodate different wall thicknesses.

All the ducts include both single-sided and double-sided Textures (DS suffix) to allow for open-ended ducts that a player can look through if desired. The amount of dirt/rust on the ducts is globally controllable using a material parameter collection setting, which is accessible via a Blueprint node placed in the map (SetHVACRust_BP).
