Please note that Cineware by Maxon only works with Unreal Engine 5.0 and beyond and requires Cinema 4D 2023.0 and beyond. 

The Cineware by Maxon plugin allows you to import Cinema 4D files quickly and easily into Unreal Engine by translating .c4d files via Datasmith into the Unreal Engine, generating the scene on-the-fly, eliminating the need for Cineware caches. Thanks to the flexibility this offers, there’s a new option to modify Cinema 4D attributes directly within the Unreal Editor.
