Description

A drivable version of this vehicle is available here: Drivable SSN Los Angeles (West)

The Vigilante SSN Los Angeles was purposely designed for anti-submarine operations centered on countering boats that would more than likely be targeting important US Naval carrier battle groups. This vehicle blueprint is fully rigged, has animated Missile Shafts, Snorkel, radar, front & rear hydroplanes, Antenna’s, and Rudders. Textures, and propeller thrust FX is included.

The vehicle is ready for import into your DIS/HLA (RPR FOM) simulation projects. As such, it is not set up as a traditional Unreal asset with an interior but can be modified as needed to suit your purpose.

A sample showcase/demo Blueprint has been included with an environment map and User Interface (UI). When you “Play” the map, the UI includes camera presets, sliders, and buttons to demonstrate the key functionalities of the asset.

Disclaimer: This asset uses the Water system plugin from Epic Games for demonstration purposes only. The vehicle asset can be used and modified without this plugin enabled in your personal projects.

The Water system plugin allows the user to view the vehicle’s look on water surfaces. It is not used for buoyancy or movement. All rights of the Water system plugin are the exclusive property of Epic Games. Vigilante does make any warranties, inferred or implied, regarding the use of Epic’s plugin.
