I took my Sure-sm57 mic and went outside hunting interesting surfaces to record footsteps on.

I ended up with 29 surface types. Each surface contains Walk and Run samples (8 samples for each locomotion type) so there are 472 samples in total!

Here the surfaces are:

P.S. This project took me six month (waiting for leaves and then for snow most of the time actually).
