Ultimate Venus is created for developers and space enthusiasts to tell stories and create experiences about this incredible planet. Derived from over 200GB of data from the Magellan spacecraft, to produce the highest detail surface texture of a 3D Venus, known to be publicly available – let us know if you find a more detailed one! The total color map is 81,920 pixels wide and 40,960 pixels high, with over 92% of the planet texture from real data and the remainder being meticulously crafted to compliment the underlying appearance.
This project includes the Animate Sequence used to produce the showcase video.
