*Update 1.3 adds a Spear, an Axe, a Custom object blueprint, and Collision sounds and Particle Effects.

*Update 1.5 adds New Locomotion Options and a Plasma Sword, along with other minor improvements.

**Please note that UE5 is now supported, but I still recommend using using UE4.27 as it’s more stable and collisions are more precise.

This System gives you realistic, customizable VR swords, with a robust Slicing System that includes advanced settings.

Swords work in a realistic and intuitive way, and the slicing system can slice virtually any custom Static mesh.

It can be used as a template to start your new project, or you can add it to an existing project with minimal effort.

It includes the all the assets and files for the included Example games, “Sausage Samurai” and “Tatami Attack!”

Slicing skeletal meshes is not currently supported.

Technical Details

Swords included:

Number of Blueprints: 14, plus additional blueprints used in Example games

Textures: 124 textures @ 2048×2048 (You can change the Max Resolution to lower the resolution if needed)

Input: Works with VR motion controllers

Supported Development Platforms:

Tested on Windows with Oculus-VR and Steam-VR.

I have received reports that it works perfectly on Oculus Quest as well.
